This book was no exception to the warriors serious. In this story Erin Hunter creates a vivid story in the minds of readers and captures the story on a clan called ThunderClan. Recently ThunderClan has been attacked and a greencough (sickness) outbreak has started. ThunderClan is left weak and almost defenceless. A fire has destroyed the ThunderClan camp. The main characters of this "power of three" edition, LionBlaze, HollyLeaf and Jayfeather are trying to figure out what their parents are and what the prophecy means. At the end, ThunderClan discovered that a cat in their ranks murdered Ashfur, an oridaniry warrior but had a dark secret to tell. This book deserves a try. If you do try it, you won't be disappointed.

I ordered this book from and read it all the way through. It's really excellent. I think Jayfeather has the most interesting adventure in this book. Also Hollyleaf's interest in the Warrior code is brought more into focus. I think I know who did what to whom, there were some significant hints at the end of the book. I have to say that it really put a new perspective on an older character and I don't think I will ever see that character in the same light again. I've already ordered the next book and I suggest that every fan of Warriors order this one.

This is a really good book. It is full of twists and turns that keep you curious and exited of what will happen next. I would say it is a real page turner, but that would be original (sarcasm). Honestly though, it is as well written as the first four and will cause you to be intrigued to figure out what happens in the final book of the series.
This book, the 5th book of the Power of Three series, Long Shadows, has left me at a loss for words. When it starts, you feel as though this is only a small part of the series, but as you continue, it reveals more secrets in the Clans than you could ever dream of.
Kayla feels the need to know more about the ancient cars who used to live around the lake. Was there another cat who conspired with Hawkfrost to kill Firestar? And who is harboring a huge secret that could destroy ThunderClan? And what would happen to the other clans if one rejects the Warrior Code??
I'm hooked on this series of books in a big way. I'm not a kid either, & don't honestly believe this would be a book/series for any kid under the age of 13. They are stories about survival & remind me of Native American books set in prehistoric times.

But for the adult with a fascination for cats, this is the best I've read in a long time. For those who rescue feral cats & are upset by moments of blood & fighting, you probably wouldn't like it. But the entire series of Warrior books are a treasure & I can't put them down. I'm going into withdrawal now, waiting for Book #6 to be delivered in the Power of 3 Series. I can't wait for the next series of Warrior tales to come out! Good job, Erin Hunter! Keep it up - you have a true fan here.
I can’t even describe this amazing series of books. Erin Hunter, you have done it AGAIN. Always managing to create amazing, mysterious, adventurous, creative books for Warriors. This book is another book in the perspective of Jayfeather, Hollyleaf, and Lionblaze. This book really went by fast because of how much a read it. My eyes seem glued to the books. Warriors is very creative, and I couldn’t imagine a world without it!
